Man, oh man.  It's been almost a year, and my luck hasn't changed, regardless of the signs.  Doesn't really matter, of course, as we'll keep playing and see what happens.  One thing, I don't think I play stupidly, as my bets are always because you have to "Be in it to Win It."  This year has not been great, but the numbers can still come through for us.  Total payouts for the lotteries this week will be more than $1.5B.  Woo-hoo.  Let's get some!

Okay.  It seems like trying to see patterns and signs is not working.  I'm done trying to make it happen.  No special breakfast.  No special tickets at a special store.  No special money.  Just going to buy a ticket and see how it goes.  Yippee!

What? It's Been That Long?

I just saw it's been more than 10 months since posting.  I really do apologize, but I just don't make the time to communicate.  It's been lots of "signs" but not much results.  Not sure if the two are related, I suppose.  If it's meant to be, it will be.
Anyway, I do wonder what will happen if the odds ever fall in my favor.  One big question is - Where will we live?  That can be quite contentious, as everyone has a version of their "perfect" place.  Would a townhouse in downtown Boston be best, to walk the Freedom Trail whenever we wanted?  Or, a suburban house in a neighborhood where the kids played outside and everyone's yard was nicely manicured?  A country estate with horses?  A working farm?  Mountains?  Coast?  Snow?  Beach?  Ugh.  Good luck convincing yourself of the ideal location and then convincing the others.
I'm sure it would be tough, but we can figure it out.

Looking good this week.  Shirt's the color of money and I ate Lucky Charms for breakfast.  Good times.

Groundhog Day

Powerball will be drawn on Groundhog Day, one of my favorite days of the year, so it makes sense for my luck to go up.
Also, it would be a great turn against the family pain this week.  One of my daughter's best friends passed away, and it's really hurting right now.  Sure could use some good stuff.
