Big Money, Little Quarters

Don't worry.  I'm still playing.  Just been busy, so it's tough to post regularly, and since I'm not winning, it's not as much fun.  Like the song, the phone still ain't ringing so I assume it still ain't you.  Anyway, both jackpots are around $300 Million, and I've had good vibes.  Plus, that would be a GREAT Christmas present!  What?  Tony the Tiger would be really happy.  And, I've been given quarters as change  in the last week for the states I would like to go to.  Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island (never been there, they tell me it's nice), Colorado, Mount Rushmore, or Great Smoky Mountains.  Ready to pack my bags!

Maybe next time

Well, the Mega Millions jackpot neared record territory this past week and one lucky set of numbers managed to win, a mere couple of hours from where I live.  Pretty nice.  But not for me.  However, I still have a job, so I'll keep on trucking, earning my moolah a tiny slice at a time.  Well, paying the bills a little at a time.
Anyway, the great news is that the Powerball jackpot is very large and all we need is a little luck and we're looking at $750 Million.  Woohoo!  Lots of signs, but they just mean I'm having a good time on this side of the dirt.
Today could be the day (well, tomorrow).

Nostalgia. Plus, It's My Birthday!

Time to celebrate getting older with a Powerball win.  It seems MegaMillions didn't pan out, but it wasn't time, yet.  Getting older means you look at things a little differently, and I'm seeing fond memories today.  Here's to celebrating and New Memories and Friends!

Another Beautiful Day

Another beautiful day in the South.  Temps below average. Probable rain this afternoon, and a jackpot larger than anybody needs, but really nice if you win it - $187 Million.  Here are a few items pointing toward my section of the universe.
1. Perfect way to start the new year of school for the kids - new cars for car rider lanes.
2. Found three pennies yesterday before buying the tickets - one for each kid.
3. Found a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup in the freezer.  Thought they had all been eaten months ago.  What a surprise!
And, of course, there are other coincidences that are seen as "signs" to guide us through the day.

Just to let you know, everything's in place for a lottery jackpot win.  Big jackpot.  Tickets have been bought.  And, the family is ready to move out of this ridiculous place where we live.  Too darn hot.  Anyway, it's a beautiful day to start again.

Disappointing

Disappointed today because I didn't win last night.  It was my mom's birthday, so it would have been special.  Also, they just played "Take This Job and Shove It" on the radio, but I didn't get to sing along.  Oh well.

Today, Powerball is nice and high, so I feel lucky.  No, really, in honor of Mary Chapin Carpenter, we all should feel lucky about celebrating her birthday.  The author (or performer) of "I Feel Lucky" is turning 60 today, so I should turn my numbers into the clerk and call in sick to work.  The stars may lie, but the numbers never do.  Happy Birthday, Mary!
