1 in 88 Quadrillion

Are you kidding me?  I just saw that the odds of winning both lotteries is 1 in 88 Quadrillion.  That is crazy.  Plain crazy.  Do you know how lucky I'll look in the pictures with those two checks?  One press conference or two?  Face value of $690 Million.  Next year's Christmas would look a lot different, that's all.
Well, yesterday was pretty good to me, regardless of the lottery results, as I found $14.05 at the gas station.  After giving my money to the clerk, I spotted two dollars dancing through the parking lot and caught them (windy).  Then another.  Then, I spotted one at the back of a car that was parked while the driver played with his phone and decided not to look like too much a fool and let it go.  When my pump clicked off, he drove off and then I saw a $10 bill in a small puddle where he'd parked.  I went over and claimed the $11 and also found a nickel.  Gotta be good luck, huh?
I finished off my Lucky Charms today, so time to cash in.

New Game, New Heights

Well, they modified the MegaMillions game to increase the jackpots.  It looks like it's working, and this could be the big weekend where someone defies all odds and wins both MegaMillions and PowerBall!  Total of $388 Million on the line for yours truly.  Yep, I'd be fine with one, but let's go for it all.  WooHoo!

Lucky Week

Sometimes, signs are tough to interpret.  I've had a good run of luck this week.
Two mornings ago, I found a $10 bill while on my morning walk.  Pretty good sign, but what to do with it?  Lottery tickets?  Ice cream?  Car parts?  Or, put it in the "found money" stash?  Yep, that's where it went.
So, yesterday I find $21 in the street! You kidding me?  Same scenario, and the money is in the "found money" stash, now.  But, since it's free money, should I just blow it?  Or, horde it, to do what?  Gas money when the funds are tight?  Anyway, it's a dilemma.  Plus, that's an odd number of funds that wouldn't be convenient for $2 Powerball tickets.  Which, leads to today.
I find $2 in the street this morning.  One Powerball ticket coming my way.  Third day of finding money in the street?  That's a sign to me!  I'll still have $31 if I need another play.

For Sale in Colorado, Again

Many years ago, I found a wonderful house/estate on the Internet, that was for sale.  It had its own website and caused me to fall in love with Telluride, Colorado.  I don't even remember what year that was, but I posted on this blog in November 2012 that it was for sale again. Since then, it was bought by someone else, but happens to be back on the market today!  Plus, the price is half what it was initially, so it's practically a steal!  Anyway, here's to winning today or tomorrow!  $350 Million or $307 (annuity) or both!  I'll post pictures!

Yep, I got an email today asking if I could be tonight's $375 million Powerball jackpot winner?
In short, yes.  Today could be the day.

Today could be the day!  That's what the Georgia Lottery Commission tells me.  And I believe them.  However, I'm already a winner today!  Found 16 cents in the road this morning!  The three pennies I found yesterday were certainly a sign, too.  On our way! Yippee.

Idaho

So, I guess I'll move to Idaho when I win.  Beautiful country, I hear.  I've heard "Your Own Private Idaho" twice in the last week (B-52s).  When was the last time you heard that song?  Even once?  Thought so.  It's a sign.

Monopoly Money

So, I'm walking through the Kroger parking lot this morning and I see something shiny.  I step over it, thinking it's a car part.  Then, I realize I should pick it up, just because I saw it and there's no reason to be the person who acknowledges and leaves trash laying around.  Well, it turns out to be a Top Hat from Monopoly, the ultimate sign of future wealth and properties!  Sounds good to me.  Just need to buy the tickets, pass GO, and not go to jail.

Just one more ticket, not going to win anyway.

good times ahead

Not much time to write, but the signs are here, at least for a good day.  Bought some Kanzi apples and happened to bring in exactly 81 cents in coins (pretty good, huh) and then followed a truck from where my wife would like to live.  All drawing us in.  Good entertainment for $2.  Tonight's the night!

It Ain't Over

Just have to say, it ain't over.  No fat ladies, yet.  It's going to be a great, fantastic weekend!  Full of riches and a little cooler weather.  Time to win the prize so I can escape the world of tax preparation and this warm weather.  Someplace where the groundhog is sometimes relevant.  Phil said this year was 6 more weeks of winter, but I'm afraid we haven't had any, yet.  Anyhow, that's all good.  Next year, we'll be playing in the snow somewhere! 
Met with our client today who won the lottery many years ago, so I see that as a sign that his luck is heading my way.  Time to share the wealth.
