Pot is larger than I can remember, but we still miss our wonderful dog. Sign of the day was just on the radio. See, I wander around the Internet pulling up distant radio stations, for one reason or another, but mainly just to hear something different. Well, I tuned into the station closest to where my dad grew up (34.1 miles away - an old, Native-American station - Hau Koda - Hello Friend) and the first song I heard was "Back Home Again" by some old artist, but not John Denver. Not sure who wrote the tune, but it was a sign to return to the roots, or home, of my family. We'll see, but it sure would be nice to be able to return there, and maybe even set down roots, home again.
My Quest to Win the Lottery. MegaMillions and PowerBall are the games to play, and only when the pot is greater than $100 Million.

So, This Is It
My dog won't be celebrating the lottery with me. Her cancer has spread and we're having her put to sleep. Best Dog Ever. No sleeping in the bed, but now I can win for her. Ha! She would love it.

Hallelujah!
It seems that the old pooch was just suffering from a bug, we think. The vet checked her out and she seems fine, but the blood work may tell us more. In the meantime, she was acting her usual, fool self last night, which was too wonderful! Seems she's not done with us, yet!
She still holds hope to sleep in the bed. I think that's what she's up to, and thought $390 Million would get her there.
I hope she's right!

Sorrow and Sadness
Right now, I'm not sure how my dog is doing. Hopefully, she's just suffering from a bug, but I fear she's dying. She's old and means the world to me! What a dog!
Years ago, I made a deal with her that, when we won the lottery, she could sleep IN the bed, not just near the bed! I really thought it would happen! She's going to the vet today, so there's still hope. I just want her to live forever. That's all.
Peace.
Didn't win either jackpot this weekend. Getting to be stupid big. Woohoo.

Random
Just throwing this one out there. What would happen if I won both lotteries in the same week? Would I get arrested? Surely, people would think there was something amiss, but maybe it's just good luck!
Here's to winning $566 million this weekend ($363 and $203, respectively).
Cheers.
Maybe it will be you, though. Good luck.

I'm still here
Still hanging on! Signs still pop up, but the moment hasn't been right for me to win. But, what's that? My morning sign!
So, I go for a short walk in the mornings before work - not much, but better than nothing. We had a large storm yesterday that must have loosened the change of the neighborhood as I found 36 cents on the walk - 1 quarter, 1 dime, and 1 penny. That's the double chai, or "alive" or "living." The symbol is popular in Jewish culture and gifts are often given in multiples of 18, such as a double dose of 36! Whoo-hoo! In it to win it! Small caveat to my theory, though. It seems I found another penny right before buying the tickets today, making a total of 37 cents. Double-chai plus one means on the ways to infinity in my book! Celebration time! Cheers!
